i went jogging on tue without my specs and took a never-before ventured route.
and promptly got v v v lost.
and as my panic began to rise, it suddenly occurred to me that i was having an experience that relates perfectly to Lehi's dream.

-misty darkness leading to blindness? check.  (no specs, it was evening and getting dark)

-long twisty wandering roads leading to who-knows-where? check. (i went reeaalllly off track)

-moving off the straight & narrow? check. (who the heck takes such a gamble without good eyesight first?!)

-repentance process? check. (i humbled myself enough to finally ask people for directions and eventually called my mum for help) (thank goodness for modern technology) (and i prayed. OF COURSE)

-Savior to guide me back? check. (my mum seriously saved my butt. despite my epic blindness and total inability to see the names of any roads/landmarks until i'm 5" away from the words or something, she still managed to guide me back to familiar paths)

it's flooding my friends page but DANG, i actually know what some of those letters are talking about.
i know what it feels like cos i've gone through (still going through) the exact same experience.
i think i'll go write one or two for myself cos it makes a whole lot of sense actually.
